The Miners’ Pit Check
Pit checks are one of the most popular and sought after coal mining objects. Every miner had a pit check, stamped with their own unique identity number.
For a minimum donation of £50, your very own pit check will be displayed at the entrance to the new Visitor Centre for all to see. Choose your limited edition number, pit check shape and have your name engraved for complete personalisation. You will also receive a duplicate of the pit check as your own keepsake.
